Nickolas Kuvetakis—known to many as Nick or Niko, — has over 28 years of experience in the electrical industry. A proud Oakland native, Nick was raised in OUSD and attended Sequoia Elementary, Bret Harte Junior High, and Skyline High School. As a first-generation American, he spent part of his early childhood in his family's homeland of Greece, which remains close to his heart. For the past 18 years, Nick has served the Oakland Unified School District’s Department of Buildings and Grounds, and for the last six years, he has led the Electrical Department as its manager. Nick prides himself on building relationships rooted in honesty, solidarity, and most importantly trust.
